Cassican: The Railroad Path has been released on Amazon! Currently, it is available in paperback and Kindle versions. (I know the ad says hardcover, and it will be, eventually...)

I'm super excited to finally get the book out into the world! It's been just over two and a half years since work began on the first draft, and I'm very proud of how far it's come in that time. Writing the book was an amazing experience that I'm glad I stuck with to the end. I ended up being the writer, illustrator, and editor for all iterations of the book, so it ended up taking a lot of my time... But I wouldn't have it any other way!

Personally, I'd consider the book to be a good match for anyone 14+ who enjoys more emotionally-driven books rather than "epic battle"-driven ones. I hope that it'll be able to find its audience, and if people end up liking it, be excited for how the story continues. As of now, progress on the second and last book will be slow and likely take quite a long time to complete; as I've specified in the preface, likely not until after 2030. In the meantime, however, I am toying with the idea of releasing a shorter, self-contained novella set in the same universe, focusing on a character that may already be familiar... But it all depends on school workload and what time and motivation I have for it. If I'm going to do something, I'm not going to do it halfway.

That aside, that pretty much completes the first newsletter on the website. I'll likely post these every couple of months or so, giving updates and stuff that people might want to see if they're interested in what I've been up to.
